As a survivor of mental health struggles, I can attest to the fact that low points can still affect me to this day. Despite years of therapy and medication, the scars of past battles remain etched in my mind.
There are times when I feel overwhelmed by feelings of sadness and despair, even when things in my life seem to be going well. It’s a constant battle to maintain my mental health and keep negative thoughts at bay.
I have learned to cope with my low points by practicing self-care and reaching out for support when needed. Talking to a therapist or counselor has been instrumental in helping me navigate my emotions and find healthy ways to cope.
It’s important to remember that mental health is an ongoing journey, and setbacks are a natural part of the process. By acknowledging and addressing my low points, I am better equipped to handle future challenges and continue on the path to healing.
Through it all, I have come to accept that my mental health struggles do not define me. They are a part of who I am, but they do not have the power to control my life.
